Aquatic Plant Surveys

Lakeland Biologists offers professional aquatic plant surveys. While our surveys can simply be used as a visual for basic identification of plant species and mapping areas, they also follow the requirements of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to be used for Wisconsin AIS Grants, Lake Grants and River Grants.

Our Biologists are available to assist with all Wisconsin DNR surface water grant opportunities

Point Intercept Mapping

Point Intercept Aquatic Plant Surveys are a valuable tool in aquatic management. The surveys can be a requirement in long-term lake management planning and to receive funding. The data provides information on species present, density, location of aquatic plants and recommended control.

Invasive Species Monitoring

Surveys are an important process for monitoring and controlling invasive aquatic species such as Eurasian Watermilfoil and Curlyleaf Pondweed.
